Zac Chandler was born in Washington D.C. He was bit by The Beatle bug early on. His first experience playing guitar in bands was around the Bay area. His family then moved to Hollywood, Florida where he began learning bass and keyboards, but was mainly playing bass in blues groups. As an adult Zac focused on guitar and played in "The Debbi Lee Band". After "The Debbi Lee Band" folded he joined "The Chemicals". Both of these bands have opened for acts that include Waylon Jennings, Carl Perkins, Foghat, The Guess Who, Albert King, Sonny King, Steppenwolf, Bad Co, Pat Travers, and Southern Pacific. In "The Chemicals" he was one of the founding members where he played guitar, banjo and keyboards, which produced a self titled cd under Waterbug records. Zac's first cd "Zac Chandler Jetcar" contains 15 trks of blues, rock and country, recorded at his home studio "Lil One recording". Zac's 2nd cd "Biker" has Beatle influences with a blues and country mix. Now Zac has just completed his 3rd cd "Cerebral Skies" he is joined by his longtime friends and this cd has a very eclectic mix of songs, all available at cdbaby.com. Zac and his band: Jeff Strutz guitar/vocals..Lamont Myers bass/vocals..John Conte drums/vocals literally have performed all over the world doing thousands of shows. Zac received a special commendation for songwriting from Eddie Rabbitt, which his song "Why Do You Tease Me" placed 13 out of 50,000 entries.
