Steven Cortez was born in Manhattan, KA. This Artist now resides in Arizona where he was raised since 1990. Steven's passion for music was always strong growing up constantly surrounded by wide varieties of music genres and sounds that his father would create and listen to. Being a son of a trumpet player and gospel singer it wasn't long before Steven discovered talents of his own. In 2001 at the age of 15 Steven was introduced to a computer loop-based program that was mainly used for the composition of music. He became intrigued by the art of producing harmony and expression of emotions thru sound and decided to devote his future to music. It was during this period, influenced by his music and peers; he decided to enter a group which endured until 2005. During that time, he purchased professional studio keyboards which broadened his music capabilities to unimaginable levels. Steven mastered his keyboards on his own while learning engineering concepts along the way. It wasn't until Steven left the group that he discovered his own sound and channel of feeling. With matured talents, new artists were quickly drawn by his seductive sounds. Now at the age of 24 he still continues to compose music for various artists that is influenced by his emotions and talents.
