Thank you for your kind words. In regards to your questions, I use a combo of different programs and samples. Mostly I use a combo of Cakewalk Sonar with Kontakt2 loaded as a plugin. For audio mastering I use Sound Forge.
Sample wise I use EWQL Gold XP Pro, Vienna Pro Cube, Project SAM, Miroslav, various others. If you're looking for rich expressive strings there's nothing better than VSL Appassionata 1&2. Just so you know though, I use mostly EWQL for my Cantata work as their samples employ the "Round Robin" sample banks which makes shorter, faster moving passages come to life.
