GYNESIS was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. At the age of 8 he began harnassing his passion for music in church. By age 11 he was perfecting his rhyme skills by entertaining childhood friends at school. Even though GYNESIS stayed close to the church, he was influenced by the style and skill of artists such as Tupac, Jay-Z, Nas, Outkast, Goodie Mob, Lil Wayne, and T.I.
After being robbed at gunpoint in 2002, he decided to dedicate his life and talents to God. He then formed a gospel group with his cousin Dante, called II Blessed. The group was succussful enough to land an opening spot for Gospel great, John P. Kee. The group disbanded after GYNESIS joined the United States Air Force. After an honorable discharge in 2004, GYNESIS decided to pursue a solo career as a Gospel Rap artist.
The mission of GYNESIS has been quite successful. He has been placed on local television shows and has even recieved a plaque alongside celebrities such as Chris Tucker (Rush Hour), T-Boz (TLC), and female R&B group Blaque. Today GYNESIS is focused on expanding his mission and leading the music industry by example.
