Love, a relatively abstract ideal. Some would call it a step away from insanity. Well this is what Lamar "JusLove" Smith feels as he has gone about the business of crafting his very own opuses to honor this lady. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, JusLove has been writing since the age of 7. JusLove is music. This statement may seem arrogant, but upon further inspection it will undoubtedly prove accurate.
A prolific and published writer since childhood, this Chicago native parlayed his gift into a penchant for songwriting that branches across Hip-Hop, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Gospel, Pop, Reggae, etc... Love's proficiency with the guitar and musical theory coupled with efficient use of music production software and his skill as an audio engineer gives him the flexibility that allows him to write and produce for artists of many genres. Versatility is key, and for Love, music is genre-less. He has released two albums in tandem with emcee/poet Nate "Illuminate Mics" Marshall as the group Daily Lyrical Product and and is working on refining his organic sound and his use of live instrumentation in his production and performances. Not willing to fall into any one category but remaining true to his hip-hop roots, JusLove is fully prepared to show the world just how deep this love gets.
