Sandman has been making music since the age of 16. He hails from Richmond Virginia and his musical style is that of true hip hop. He says, “I believe hip hop comes from the soul and not the desire for monetary gain.” His influences stem from an enormous list of producers and artists such as, J Dilla, Dr. Dre, Timbland, RZA and Just Blaze. His production can currently be heard on iTunes on the brand new album, “Inside Out”, from In House Recording artist, Cap, and the upcoming Stealth Riders television program on Speed this fall. He was also featured as a Celebrity Producer for Suzuki’s Busa Beats MC competition. Sandman constantly stays busy producing hot music! Sandman says this about his goals, “I’m working to help bring real hip hop back to the forefront. I’m gettin’ it in everyday to try to return the music back to the essence.
