"Klanggebiet" can be translated as "Area of Sound" - I thought this would be a good name for a band. But I am not playing in a band - what a pity! So I had to look for another name. Adding the little "er" behind Klanggebiet seemed to be a good interim solution. "Klanggebiet(er)" (Klanggebieter) can be translated as "Master of Sound". Yes, it seems to be priggish but it is just for bridging the time until I have my own band. I wrote my first song about 20 years ago - but all I have since then is my unbreakable motivation, a bunch of about 500 undeveloped songs and ideas and some band memberships that were all crap, because I did not want to fit into a special genre. Unfortunately most of the musicians do - maybe the right way if you want to be successful. So I began to give some of my ideas a form you are able to listen to. I just have my computer with Fruity Loops, an old telephone-headset to record my old western guitar and vocals (more a whispering - the mic cannot stand loud singing). So you can imagine the sound quality... (Two new guitars since August 2009) But this is my way not to forget my ideas and getting my songs hearable. I do not want to tell you that my songs are completed and ready for release - they HAVE to be developed by a real band. But it is my ideas that could call the attention of some people which can look behind the sound quality. Have fun and enjoy your day!!! Torsti :-)

hehe - und wie isses so auf Soundclick? Manches ist ja 'n bischen umständlich und unübersichtlich hier, aber man kann schön viele Stücke laden und die auf myspace übertragen... :)
