Music producer WhoElze was born Hector Parra and raised on the streets of Jersey City, NJ. He became serious about creating music after high school. WhoElze also became fascinated with music sampling; music producers were using this unique style to create some of hip hop’s hottest beats. Word on the street quickly spread about Hector’s talent. His beats were often played, followed by the popular question, “Yo, who made that beat?” The response was always the same, "Whoelse?! Tito!" Inevitably, Hector acquired the undisputable name “WhoElze”.
