On June 16, 1990, at Meridith Hospital in Oakland, California, a child was born and his name was William Jibri Copeland. While still very young, his family moved to the MidWest towards Chicago, where Jibri ended up being raised by Hip Hop fanatics, Jazz musicians, Gospel singers, and ghostwriters. As time went on, he found that he had a unique ability of ear playing, along with perfect pitch. With this in mind, his father made it a point to keep his son involved with musicianship, teaching him how to play the piano and make songs. The family then moved to Rockford, Illinois as Jibri turned 11. At age 14, the awakening of a freestyler was born, due to his obsession with embarassing his enemies without physical contact (Jibri knew that it would be unwise to have a police record). As a sophomore in high school, Jibri met the most influencial person in his life when it came to his hip hop soul. His name was Renaldo Cooper (Rude Da Pillz) and they are now as close as brothers. Together, they created the label known as K.I.L.L. Ent., otherwise known as Keep It Love & Lyrics Entertainment. Due to the first impression usually given when hearing the Label name, K.I.L.L. Entertainment is know known as Third City Records....nonetheless, the labelmates still consider themselves KILLAZ because although the name has been altered, the message could never be challenged. But now, He is... a BoxCutta....blade it up.
