Jazzcozi is the explosive new Luxury Jazz group out of France. A quartet of award winning french artists. Their debut album is of classic standards with the velvet vocals of the french/italian new crooner Philippe Lucas.
The first single out in January 2010 is C'est Si Bon. An Yves Montand favorite, as well as among many other Jazz greats. This variation should be well recieved by the general public, it is sung in french as are the original lyrics of the 1947 Angele Durand song.
The music is played as each individual award winner in the new group JAZZCOZI, feels...each of the quartet members has been playing in Paris and around the world. Now together in one single group.
This upcoming album was recorded in Paris at Bop City Studios with Max Jesion from Brazil and mixed and mastered in the USA at Capitol records Hollywood with Al Schmidt, a 15 X grammy award recipient, Ron McMaster who has mastered the greatest Jazz artists of all time.
The producer is Judith Freiha who lives between France and the US. It is her first album to produce and it took 3 years in the making. She chose Jazz as her family is in Radio with smooth easy listening sounds, Oldies, TalkRadio, and Mix Hits. Frank Sinatra lived in the desert where the Radio Stations still reside. Now bringing to the USA a new voice from France, Philippe LUCAS.
