Matt Blake from The Extreme Tour A&R Team. Did I send you this already ?†From: The eXtreme Tour (xtadmin@gmail.com) Sent: Tue 1/26/10 11:43 PM To: Greg Baumgartner (celticrockers@hotmail.com) Hi, Matt Again. Got your email, and I will add you to the Promo Program. Below is the generic info we send out when you register. I want you to know we are all stoked we can help you with this. I have been to GMA Week myself, and I have seen the benefits that our artists have obtained through our staff’s efforts, and I personally get excited for the relatively few bands we select for this when I consider how this might really help you. I know you had some questions, and I think the generic info below covers some of those, but just in case, here are a few details you seemed to be asking about: The Showcase at Rocketown is scheduled for April 20th. We may add an extra day for that too, depending on the response from you guys, the artists we have selected. Normally, showcasing at GMA can cost bands thousands. Ted has secured sponsors for a significant part of the cost, and is working on finding the rest. Last year we got it down to 500 a band, I think. And I know Ted thinks he can get it lower, or perhaps free for the bands we select for that opportunity. As you know, only the few bands we have contacted for the promo program will even be considered, and you are on that list, so hopefully you are available and can take advantage of the slot if Ted and the panel select you. Do let us know if you are wanting to be considered for that. Let me know if you have any other questions. Be sure to read through the info below, and follow the directions there. I can get swamped with emails, and will often have to send out very brief replies that just contain brief answers to your questions, but I WILL try to keep up with your questions if you have them. Thanks Again. Let me know if I can help with anything. - - - - MATT BLAKE Thank you for registering for the Extreme Tour GMA Promotional Plan. I just wanted to take a sec to let you know that you guys did make the cut as it were. You were selected, from the bands that responded, to be one of our select few bands that we will be promoting at the GMA / Dove Awards Week 2010. We will represent your band and ministry in the meetings and appointments we are a part of during GMA Week 2010. We will also distribute your materials to other Industry Attendees of “The Objective†(The “By Invitation†development sessions we will be holding for artists and Indstry reps at Michel W. Smith’s “Rocketown†Venue), at GMA Week 2010. This will provide the opportunity for YOUR materials to be put directly into the hands of our friends in the industry who are record label A&R reps, promoters from around the world, radio and video broadcasters from around the world, major booking and talent agencies, as well as national magazines and print media reps. Over the past few years, we have seen many of the participating bands receive record deals, radio airplay, concert and festival bookings, and significant media exposure as a direct result of their participation in our GMA program. You will now also be eligible to be considered for one of the slots at our GMA showcase. From those who have registered for the GMA Program, we will select a limited number of bands that will actually have a chance to perform during GMA Week at Rocketown, currently scheduled for April 20th. Many label reps and industry personnel will attend portions of the showcase, looking for bands to sign or review. You MUST be a part of the GMA Promo Program in order to be considered for one of these slots. You also will receive priority seating at The Objective, our workshop for Extreme Tour bands that is held also on April 20th, at Rocketown, just steps away fr

KNIGHT'S TEMPLAR: We are still working on creating new songs plus adding touches to a few.As many of you know I have have been writing, playing, engineering, producing this album basically myself Drummer GLEN ALLEN, and RICHARD ZIERE helping with Orchestra Arrangements, This has been at total DIY project!!! If your interested in doing auditions.. let us know. These 5 songs hopefully will be done in the next couple weeks.. It's taking a bit longer than I had planned but we are plugging away.. D lot of my time, consequently this project has been mainly a side experiment..... until NOW! To date other than RICHARD BASS, Piano -Keys, and Greg on drums and guitar tracks. Studio LEAD Guitarist for actual recordings WHERE GLEN DUNCAN & RICHARD but we are interested in finding a skilled GUITARIST, BASS , VIOLIN, FLUTE, PIANO AND KEYS to join us in this endeavor. Currently Seeking Performance Musicians (Guitar, Bass, Opera style Choir Singers, Cello & Violin) Greg Allen THE KNIGHT'S TEMPLAR GREG ALLEN DRUMS AND VOCAL MAGAZINE FAN Review's Greg Allen Baumgartner Current mood: amorous Category: Music 20/06/01: GREG ALLEN BAUMGARTNER - GREG ALLEN CD WORLD REVIEWS ! - gabdrums@live.com Rating: 8 of:10 Keep reaching for the stars. Much success. Greetings, Gabor Kleinbloesem Editor of Strutter'zine magazine the netherlands. NEWDAY This is a high quality CD from multi-instrumentalist (?) GREG ALLEN. Unfortunately I have no further info, but I can guarantee you that his CD 'New day' is filled with quality music. The 8 included songs have been recorded through the years at different places, but I believe Greg Baumgartner (his real name!) has done most of the playing on his own. His vocals are very impressive and the guitar and keyboard work is outstanding. Musically he is playing a mixture of AOR/Melodic Rock and Progressive Rock. I think his CD will appeal to many people. The album starts with the good semi melodic AOR rocker "Another day". Then comes a very impressive song titled "Life's journey", a fantastic semi AOR ballad. The uptempo progressive melodic rocker "War machines" follows and features some excellent guitarplay and has a quite stunning chorus. "Picture perfect" is not that good, but still a nice semi melodic rocker. Then comes one of the best songs on the CD, namely the wonderful AOR ballad "Lasting love" that is in the classic AOR Heaven style from bands like JOURNEY and METROPOLIS. Totally different is the following track "The promise", a progressive metal tune that didn't grab my attention, nothing alike the previous song. Things slow down on the calmer AOR ballad "Eye to eye", a song that sounds like the first couple of ALLIES (yes, the band with pop singer Bob Carlisle) records. Closing track "Love the children" is another gorgeous song. This final track is a great progressive melodic rocker with a big keyboardsound and has melodies all over the place, while the huge sound reminds me of ARENA meets SONATA ARCTICA! There is some very impressive material on the CD of GREG ALLEN (songs like "Life's journey", "Lasting love" and "Love the children"). More songs like those and Greg definitely must be signed with one of the labels over here.
