i started making music in the early 70s. blues rock was the first attempt. i formed a band with my brother. from the mid 70s it grew more jazzy/spacy, until '78 the punk aera reached our small town. everything broke up and splitted in lots of directions. my brother and me started to run three bands at the same time. one punky rock band, one sort of "funky" live session band, one experimental noise oriented band. a reggae band followed in '83.
everyone went into recording on his own as well. one main stream of my own was the loops/ambient music. "tulminov" and "intronauten" are examples.
then, in the late '80s we started again with two bands at a time. both of them being live session bands. that means no rehearsals - pure live performing. one band being the experimental noisy free running "sumkäx", the other being the mainly dub reggae orientated "groove digger". in both projects was an inner circle of members and a changing variety of guests...
