I have been playing the Guitar for over twenty years on and off. My three brothers were in bands and I was brought up with the sound of tuning,echo,distortion and wah wah.
So from an early age I developed a decent ear for pitch.
My Father played the pubs playing Scotish and Northumberland Folk songs on the Accordian and Piano,So I guess some where in the DNA there must be something!
I was one of the founder members of a Band called "the Big Lamp" which was based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
After a lifetime of trying to play as fast as possible, I have moved away from that path and am now dedicated to tone and conveying emotion.
My first electric was a Washburn Raven a lovely Les Paul SG.I Now play Strat Type with humbucker in the treble position for the screams.
I am now in the process of recording the many songs I have written.And in 2010 I may be forming a small effeciant rock/blues unit.WATCH THIS SPACE
