Blaze born David Feliz on May 21, 1979 raised in the Bronx, N Y. He attended college at BMCC where he studied Business management. At an early age Blaze was fascinated by music, listening and vibing to the sounds of Biggie, Jay-z, Slick Rick, Run Dmc, kool G Rap Heavy D just to mention a notable few.
As Blaze passion for music increased, he started to rap and when his good friend Kenny Hernandez who later passed away gave up producing. Blaze bought all his equipment and took over. He bought books and taught himself the basics and foundation in producing. He also had a good ear for sounds and instruments. He later met C-Mack.
C-Mark born Courtney Raham on November 11, 1978. C-Mack also raised in the Bronx on 180th street and Belmont Ave. had dreams of producing since the early age of twelve. He loved listening to instrumentals and always had a desire to make beats. At the time he didn’t have the opportunity to pursue his dreams due to living life on the harsh streets. After doing some time in prison C- Mack came home with a vision and a will and that was to make beats. He bought his first beat machine (Roland MV-8000) and also taught himself how to produce with a few tips and pointers from Blaze, with trial and error he became a producer.
The pair met at a barbershop. C-Mack was aware of Blaze’s igneous beats. He let him hear some of his work and Blaze was very much impressed, from there on the two became Beat Advocatez. At the time Blaze was working for Murder inc. studios where he took C-Mack once, there Irv Gotti asked to hear his beats. He heard one track and right away he wanted it for a single for his new upcoming artist Newz. That was their first placement. The rest is history in the making. Their Musical influence included the following: Timberland, polo da don, Danger, Handz, Just Blaze, Kayne West, Neptunes. They eventually would like to be given the opportunity to work with artist such as Jadakiss, Usher, Ne-yo, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, T.I., Drake, Lil Wayne, Keri Hilson just to name a short few.
Together Beats Advocatez creativity, professionalism and ability to work with people on a personal basis sets them apart from other producers out there. They have worked on projects alongside some of the most influential and innovating artist such as Maino, Newz (Block Gang Anthem), Sticky Fingaz, Tony Sunshine, Krave, Black point and many more that they are in transition on working with. They have a distinctive style and gritty innovative rhythms. Their passionate struggles and drive for success are going to have these two one step ahead of the game. Their goal is to make classic hits that will never fade and people will always remember. They want the world to remember Beats Advocatez through their artistic nature and memorable melodies and string of hit singles to come.
