Asthor Odinn born 1981 is a musician/rapper hailing from Iceland. We have to go way back into time to catch his first influences.” I remember when I was a baby sitting in the sofa with my parents headphones listen to some of there music”. It´s was all about rock'n roll then with some Michael Jackson and early hiphop.
One day a teacher asked him What he wanted to be when he would get older? The answer came quick, a rapper. Asthor Odinn started to mimic every word from his idols 2pac, outkast, Wu-Tang Clan. Within time he begun writing his own rhymes over some of 2pac, Outkast, Wu-Tang Clan beats. It was just a bit of fun until he participated in a school singing contest and met a young musician/beatmaker Ingi Thor Ingibergsson (Digital Joe) and started working on his first album Operation On The Mic has Iceberg.
With more encouragement and recognition for his work, he continued to rap and work with Iceland's finest rap stars. A chance meeting with another rapper from his hometown Siggi Ingolfs lead to the release of his second independent album I Sitthvoru Horninu ( In Each Corner).
Astor's third album is available now and features the stunning 'Mamma' which has received huge recognition in Iceland and extensive radio play.
