Currently a film student a Georgia State University, AMP has always had a passion for music. From a young age, he was exposed to classic soul by his parents, and developed an ear for melody. As he grew older, his musical tastes developed, and he began to listen to everything from The Beach Boys to Billie Holiday and rappers such as Nas all the way to newer artists such as Young Jeezy. He considers himself "...a purveyor of all musical types". While he has been writing songs and raps since the age of seven, he began to seriously look at the entertainment industry as a career path at around sixteen and began crafting beats at seventeen. He currently uses the program FL Studio, but occasionally delves into prorams like Reason, and more often Pro Tools. He is also currently learning the ins and outs of the piano and guitar. At this rate, he knows that his dedication and hard work will pay off, and he would love to work with you to accomplish his mission of "...helping artists get thier visions out, as well as making my artistic vision known as well".
