Hi! Leif Devine here. I'm the vocalist and a guitar player. I've been a musician since I can remember clearly. I started off on the cello and studying music theory through grade and high school. I've played bass for many years in various groups, including a nationally touring band "Gristlestick" for 4 years, and am now focusing on guitar and vocals. I've also been composing electronic music over the past 10 years. You can check out "Sicmuse" on our top friends.
Andrew has been drumming since he was 4 years old... nuff said. He's awesome. We worked together for the last 2 years of Gristlestick and are continuing a well formed music interaction.
Matt (Bass) has been in many metal and rock bands including "Before I Kill Again" out of Portland. We've known each other since we were wee pups so it's great to finally be playing together. His in-your-face bass lines are well defined and edgy.
Ben (guitar) has been in rock/metal bands since he was in high school. He studied jazz music theory at UMA and composes electronicly as well.
Very important to us is variety and originality We have influences of metal, classical music, jazz, hip-hop, blues, and other forms of rock. I've found that playing cover tunes, though possibly fun for a crowd, can crush a band's identity. We don't want to be anyone else, just ourselves!
