If you have never listen to Katalyst your in for a treat! The Albuquerque
born, Austin bred lyricists like a breath of fresh air in a highly polluted
& toxic hip-hop atmosphere which permeates the industry. Aside from his
vivid detail, social commentary, numerous punch lines, and emeniem like
lyrical format, his songs resonate truth and his chorus's give the listener
chill bumps as they ponder "what if he is right?" He has been rhyming since
'88 and its apparent when one listens to tittles like "Aura" and
"Redemption" or the esoteric "I know your there", which is a brilliant work
about the passing of a fiancé. He erupted on the Austin scene in 2008 with
the D-Powers produced "Uh-huh" and the spiritually soulful "Ms Molly". Then
to add insult to injury, he released the critically acclaimed "Aura",
produced by and featuring American Idol's (Seas 5) Bluu Suede. Currently
working on projects with Symbolic One (Strange Fruit Project). Destruments,
and B.H.B Worldwide, as well as this season American Idol hopeful Madelyn
Cascio. Not to mention a plethora of International producers, including
Spain's Deejaykhul. He clearly possesses all the attributes and components
that could permantly put Austin's hip-hop scene on the map. His lyrical
depth is undisputed; take a glimpse of a verse from his song "Aura"
*(Verse 1) I don't know if it's fate, but when we conversate, there is an
energy we create. It's hard to find dimes with a similar mind state. And I
anticipate being with you on our first date. What ya know about sipping
crushed grapes out on the lake. Or in another state, watching portabellas
marinate, in a beautiful restaurant over looking the golden gate. I
appreciate your independent ways and I'm amazed, how you spend most of your
days, in a job that barley pays. That displays characteristics that are
rarely seen. Not to mention your body straight outta maxim magazine. Eyes
light green, a couple of shades from aquamarine, with a nice ring from the
rock on your ring. And your walks mean, it displays your ambiance. An
attitude of non-chalance that demands a good response. What every man wants
depends on his personal view, I don't know what it is but it's something
about you!*
He is currently preparing for the upcoming shoot of a documentary about the
challenges of an upcoming artist which will be submitted in this years SXSW,
so there is no doubt that it's just a matter of time before the world is
exposed to him. In any event he is defiantly one of Austin's finest!
