MR. HIT is definitely the truth. His straight forward lyrics and rhythmic flow are blended perfectly over steady solid beats. The way he delivers his message is reminiscent of poetry in the way his words draw you into the story. The content of HIT's many tracs are refreshing in a time when the soul of rap has given way to marketing, bragging and dance moves. Rap is an art form that once gave voice to a people and a struggle, and in MR. Hit I see a possibility for that art to return from the meaningless dribble to the powerful tool it once was.
