ome Grown in S.W.Florida,the Recipe for "THE OUTLAW RONNIE BLACK & THE FOUR QUARTERS SOUTHERN BAND"Marinate some OUTLAW COUNTRY, with some SOUTHERN ROCK,add a splash of BLUEGRASS,slow smoke that with some RHYTHM & BLUES,in the BACKWOODS, add some FAMILY,FRIENDS,BEERS & BBQ SAUCE.Well that would be US!!!! Raised on Waylon,Willie,Johnny,Jones,Coe,Daniels,Skynard,Eagles,Mac...and so many more,I'm sure you get the picture,We do it cause we love it!!! says founding member,and front man Ronnie Black (lead vocals,rhythm,and lead guitars) who has whats been said by many,to be a unique style all his own.As singer and songwriter,Ronnie brings a rich blend of down home roots,with a southern fryed attitude to the band.I'll have to agree with my brother says Eric lee,(vocals,rhythm,and lead guitars) we do it cause we love it,we have had so many influences through the years that we ended up with are own style of music,and thats a good thing,it makes you feel good when you can bring something new to the table.Although Eric has a unique guitar style all his own with a slightly darker,jazzy blues feel to it,the sounds of the two guitarists seem to merge together like the twisted trunk of a ficus tree,these two brothers definately have something great to offer to the down home music lovers of the world,and are well on there way to shooting to the top like the .50 cal.band that they are.
