Born August 2, 1984, she describes her music as spontaneous, passionate and from the heart. Hip Hop artist and CEO of Bang Dome Entertainment Young Doe, has always had a passion for singing and rapping at an early age. Writing songs and raps at the age of 14 placed her in several talent shows during her middle school years. A resident of Columbia, SC Young Doe has performed in venues across several states. Club Miami in Atlanta, GA, Colours in Richmond, VA and Scorpions in Charlotte, NC are just a few of the notable spots she has left her mark. Not limiting herself to being behind the mic, Young Doe created Bang Dome Entertainment, an independent entertainment label in 2004. The decision to create the label was based on her struggles to receive exposure as a lesbian artist. She wanted to create her own label, as a way of providing an outlet for exposure to artists in the LGBT community. The label currently consists of a family of 20 which includes Rap and R&B artists, dancers, a photographer, graphic designers, and a street team. Young Doe prides herself in using her talent to master the art of making herself into a successful artist and event promoter. Taking on the role of CEO of Bang Dome Entertainment is her day and night job. As an entrepreneur, devoting her quality time to making her business a success is her one and only career. The multitalented MC considers herself rarely having spare time but when she does she enjoys movies and relaxing at home. Young Doe has big dreams on the horizon for Bang Dome. “I see bang Dome being known all over the United States, and performing at every Pride event. Before I die, at least one of my artists will receive a major record deal.”
