PERSONAL BACKGROUND:
A son, a father, a husband, a friend, a rededicated life to God, born Brandon Alan King, previously known by different alias by his peers, now as B.Don, the 1st letter and last 3 letters of his 1st name conjoined, came up mainly influenced by his close family members, whether they were hustlers or legitimate hardworkers but main influence came through the close relationship some of his family had with God, coaching him to accept Christ but B.Don failed to understand early on and continued in rebellion, but later in life came to his senses. B.Don applies his struggles and triumphs to outreach society's mass at heart, expressing whats in best interest of all lives.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND:
B.Don began lyrical expression in 8th grade, but wasn't until college 2004 he would meet some individuals who shared the same drive for the art. Musically influenced by locals like Cincere (Producer/Rapper), Mic Smitty (Rapper), C.Troy (Rapper), and others, B.Don grew as a lyricist and would go on to land a 3 verse slot on a song titled "I Don't Know Much", a track introduced to him and 2 others by rapper and co-laborer Forchan in 2005, the very first song B.Don ever recorded. B.Don then became an official recording artist and critical weapon in a monsterous 8 man 1 woman group in Chicago. After multiple collaboration records, B.Don continues to address interests in favor of collabs over solos. "I love working with people, sharing ideas and challenging one another to push the envelope", says B.Don.
