Robert Rivera Jr. (born November 12, 1989), Better known as his stage name Explicit, by his nick name Jr, and his alter ego Mr. Dainga, is an American hip hop recording artist, music producer, song writer, and song engineer. He is also co-chief executive officer of (“Filthy Po Mgmt. Group”) Explicit is from the streets of central El Paso TX and he is of a Hispanic descent. The son of Roberto Rivera Senior and Ana Emilia Rivera, He was raised in a house hold of 4 siblings; he is the middle child of an older brother and sister and two younger sisters. At the age of 11 years old his family relocated from the streets of central to the lower valley. He and his family would travel back and forth to CD.Juarez to visit his relatives which were a great influence upon his Spanish style of music.
Early life
Right before turning 12 his brother played him a song that would change the way he would listen to Spanish music, “Control Machate” is a Mexican hip hop group from Monterry Nuevo Leon Mexico. A group that moved to the main stream after their song “Si Senior” as Explicit sits in his brothers front seat listening to the way these artist delivered there words to the perfect beat that was carried by the sound a trumpet. Explicit knew what he wanted to do.
At the age of 12 the very first hip hop influenced song that was introduced to him by again by his older brother was Montell Jordan “This is how we do it”
