Robert T Clark A.K.A BigIL; Born September 25 1974 is an southern IL rapper,songwriter & track maker.Clark started his musical endeavors in the early 90s in Duquoin IL.Robert is the co founder and original member of the S.P. C. music group,which stands for split/personality/click.Robert was also there beat maker and he also co wrote there music as well as Demetrius Dee Van who was also a founding member.Clark & Van are the first MCs to ever Blaze the the mic out of the Duquoin area and has inspired acts such as Dub Z,Hidden Haven Recording Studio and all the rappers out of the Du.In 1992 clark sighned to an independent lable out of carbondale IL, where he worked with sir Q and countless acts out of the St Louis and carbondale area.In about the late 90s he dropped his first solo debut album titled (Have you ever heard me snap before) which landed him another deal with an indie lable out of Indianapolis called Power House Records.They offerd him a three album deal 50,000 sighning bonus and 5,000 per show he preformed.Clark didnt take the deal because the lable was trying to change the way he sound.In 1998 Robert relocated to Marion IL and started building his first recording studio which was all hardware.After he finished with his studio, he stoped rapping and started focusing on music production and engineering.I think Robert is one of the best musicians out of southern IL and thats what seperates him from most of the beat makers in the area because that is what they are beat makers! Mr clark is a true keyboadist and he can even play live as well.He is also the most versatile musicians ive seen out of southern IL and i think he has a good chance of giving southern IL a signature sound.No one has done that yet,but he could be the first. I look forward to seeing what he does in the future and i wish him the best.
