JoeyLee, was a pioneer with a musical vision during the classic era of Hip-Hop/ R&B. As a singer & songwriter he has been an active member of New York City's underground scene contributing songs to several albums & singing background vocals for numerous artists. Hailing from Jamaica Queens, JoeyLee may be described as the Nat "King" Cole of Hip-Hop Soul, because of his smooth, personable style. His talent for smooth vocals is equaled by his talent for unbelievably fat hooks & lyrics. He elaborates: "My music is both street & universal in appeal.
