Chymical Wedding is a Gothic/Thrash metal band from Houston, TX. They were formed in 2009 by guitarist Byron Dickens and singer/ multi-instrumentalist Sage Rose as a vehicle to explore their mutual musical interests. Their music blends thrash and gothic metal influences as well as prog rock.
Chymical Wedding's lyrics draw from literature, mysticism, geopolitics, history and psychology in explorations of the human condition.
Main musical influences include Iron Maiden, Queensryche, and Rush.

Look for our new song soon.
"The Dark Tower" is sort of a nod to Iron Maiden. The lyrics are based on "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came" by Robert Browning.

"Secret" has just been re-released and vastly inproved.
We re-recorded the vocals and guitars and changed the arrangement a bit.

Thanks to the community at Soundclick for making our first original song, Secret, peak at #15 in Goth Metal! More is coming your way!
Originally we just put up our song as a way to get it critiqued on the Cakewalk forums and then it got popular.
So, after our promising beginnings we are working on new tunes, getting them ready for you, and re-recording this one. Before long we should have several more new originals up and ready for your listening and for your downloads.
Unfortunately, the realities of making a living are making it take a lot longer than we would like.
