MARINA VOINOVA (b. 1972) is a composer, organist, pedagogue, musicologist and faculty member of the Department of Music Theory at Moscow Conservatory. «Orpheus: The Mysterium of the Advent of the 21st Century» (2002), She holds the degree of Candidate of Musicology, and is a member of the Composers’ Union of Russia (since 2000), of the Association of Organists of Russia (since 2001) and of the authors’ artistic society SACEM (France). She graduated from Moscow Conservatory as a composer in 1998 and as an organist in 1999, and the post-graduate in 2001 as a composer and a musicologist. She has written over sixty compositions in various genres. Her music has been performed in Russian and abroad at international festivals «From the Past – to the Future», International music festival of contemporary music «Moscow Autumn», «Moscow Forum», «The Soul of Japan», «Die Dresdener Tage Zeitgenösisches Musik», the «Belorussian Autumn» and the «Warsaw Autumn». A number of compositions has been published in music editions in Russia and in France.
