I was born in kalksteenfontein and raised in Rocklands, Mitchell’s plain which is in Cape Town, South Africa. I’ve been singing, writing and playing the acoustic guitar since 2001 after I rendered my life over to God. I grew up in church and after I got involved in music, I joined the youth and worship team at my church. Over the years I worked on my craft and in 2008 I started leading praise & worship in church. I remember I was a shy boy and never had the courage to pursue my music until after my mother died in 2010. I still remember the words she told me before she died. She said don’t live your life with regrets. If you do what you love and fail, at least you tried, so in 2011 I recorded my debut album titled “Chosen”, and I wrote a tribute song for her titled “I miss you”. In 2013 I signed with Cape Praise Records, which I co- found with Mark and Thelma Lewis. Currently we are working on a worship cd, which is basically a compilation cd of our artists and will be released at the end of April. I sing gospel, rock, pop, r&b and hip hop music, but my strength lies in rock and gospel genres.
I believe that music is my language and I love to speak…
