Dat Boy Chris also known as D.B.C was born October 7th, in the Mid 80’s in Atlanta, Georgia. At the Age of 5 he began playing the piano, It was then his musical talents was discovered by others. He continued to play the piano while exploring other instruments over time. At the age of 9, he knew he wanted to be an artist so he began writing raps and exploring his talent. It wasn’t until age 11 in 1999 he discovered he wanted to become a rapper.
In the year 2001, DBC started a group among many neighborhood friends and his cousins called Forest Family. The group soon grew old and many were not interested in music anymore. DBC then formed another group in 2004: Kartell Entertainment. Kartell soon fell apart due to school and other interest. Now DBC created his own person becoming the start of a new beginning, "the movement". He describes his self as a creature, something far from ordinary that was never seen.
Dat Boy Chris has plans on receiving a major deal but now in the time being, he is on his grind trying to be heard. His latest projects would include: Dem Official Boyz Vol 1 (2006), We Run Atlanta featuring Black Kingz Generation (2008), Da Demonstration (2007), and Da Takeover (2008). All compact disk were professionally pressed and have moved over 5,000 copies independently. DBC a producer, a songwriter, and rapper plans on big things, so big things are soon to happen.
