Stelf Bombz...It is a challenge to summarize the legacy of a man who has been busy for decades yet, remains unknown to the masses. As Hip-Hop music shifts, and the game mutates, Stelf Bombz remains steady. This Mc has such a workload one could only wonder why he is still undiscovered. Well take a jouney with me and allow me to shed light.
Stelf Bombz, born Jason Hyter, raised in Staten Island New York for 30 years. He has been creating Hip-Hop since the "Golden Era". Stelf Bombz once made up 1/5th of a group named Elementz of Def. They have performed along with some of Hip-Hop's elite in the Mid-90's.Mostly known as a "battle rapper" Stelf has learned to evolve his skills as a songwriter. In 1999 he signed a solo recording agreement with NPO Records. Stelf and friend/labelmate Anomos spearheaded a movement in the City of N.Y. doing many shows and open mic's.Together they amassed over 1,000,000 downloads on the internet. In 2001 Stelf found himself back at squae one. He then built a studio, and learned all fecets of his craft in order to be self-sufficient. Since that time he has been busy building up his arsenal to launch his campaigne. He released his first project"Spit In Your Face" in the summer of 2010. He distributed copies throughout the streets in N.Y., as well as Charlotte N.C. where he now resides. Stelf Bombz has established his own label "Stelf Productions" where he produces, and promotes himself, as well as edits his own videos. The Hip-Hop universe continues to spin minus this phenominal talent. If he continues his tireless effort the world will soon bare witness to an unknown legend.
