These days being a Hip Hop Artist in the industry has been hard. Not only do you have to have lyrics, but you have to be versatile, creative, and energetic on the stage. All the females should want you and all the guys have to want to be you. In this industry your swagger and talent has to be right. When you combine everything they should be the perfect ingredients for a successful rap star. This is exactly who MISTA CAVI is.
In 2006, MISTA CAVI inked a packaging and Distribution deal with Bungalo/Universal Records. By 2007 MISTA CAVI was in all of the top magazines, including the Source Magazine, and featured on the top Music Websites including WestCoastRydaz.com, Yahoo, Napster, etc…. His album consisted of an All-Star cast with Production from Battlecat which they recorded at Snoop Dogg’s studio in Hollywood which featured Jay-Z (Next iz Me), Suga Free, G-Unit’s Spider Loc, Kokane, etc… MISTA CAVI’s 1st single was “GET TURNED UP”. If you think about it, MISTA CAVI practically started all this get turnt up talk.
Now a well-groomed Hip Hop Artist, Mista Cavi finds out that the sales part of the music industry has drastically changed in the past 3 year. Luckily MISTA CAVI focused on this early building his fan base and driving traffic to his myspace so that he can be heard. MISTA CAVI has now over 10 million views… Crazy!!
