State of Mind consist of two blood brotha's (Freddie B.) and younger brother (J.O.). Were are an unsigned recording group (not by choice). Our music is very versatile because of some of our influences such as Bob Marley, Tupac, Field Mob, Devin the Dude, Outkast, Dugeon Family, Eightball & MJG, Gheto Boys, Mystikal, Nas, Bone thug-n- harmony ,and Playa Fly(memphis king) have inspired us throughout the years and with so many inspirations and influences that we've had in life,we felt if we implemented all of our influences together and come up with our own philosophy and incorporate it with our music that it would be benefical not only to the youth and young adults but also the music industry, because to the best of my knowledge there ain't no blood brother group rap group in the mainstream that symbolize unity and brotherhood. And with much potential, its only a matter of time before we become that influence or inspiration to the youth, just as our influences and inspirations was to us
