Lil'Zoe was born on February 13, of 1992. He was born to the parents of LaShunya Hodges and Justin Cullison. He grew up without his father, but he had a godfather named Alfred Dixon Sr., who he considered a father. His godfather was a minister, so Zoe went along with his godfather to church every Sunday. And almost immediately, Zoe was Intrigued with the drums, and the keyboard, and he was intrigued by how the crowd was moving, and feeling the music. Ever since that moment, he has been in love with music. Zoe has strive to be the best he can become in music, although life hasn't put him in the best situations. Zoe lost his godmother, someone very dearly to him, at a young age. He couldn't take the pain, and wanted to give up on life, because he felt as if he couldn't live without her. She was the one, who kept him in love with music. She pushed him to use the talent he has in music, and never give it up. She saw something in him that he didn't sere himself. And ever since the day she passed, Shawn has kept his promise, to continue with his music career, and one day be a good husband, and a great father.Zoe realized that later that he was really on his own, and somehow he had to make it. He started professionally recording his music at the age of thirteen. Since then, he has written and recorded over a hundred songs. Although he was well into his music, he was also well into the streets. He sold drugs, and carried weapons to protect himself. He had to get money to help his mother out. Seeing her struggle was something he hated to see. He realized how hard it is for a single parent, especially a single mother, to try and raise a boy to a man without a man in the household. He applied for jobs in every part of Warner Robins, and Macon, GA. But nobody ever called him back, so he felt he had no other resort. He has been arrested over ten times, and even went to juvenile. in Cordele, Georgia for six months. People labeled him a bad person, but deep inside, all he wants to do is help other people. On December 6, 2008. Zoe started a relationship with Amy Ortiz, his ex. Since then they have been together. Zoe says that she is that person who brings out the person he was before his godmother died. She is that person that will always be there, no matter what. Zoe is focused on his music, and telling the world what they need to hear.
