Big year fo LMFAO
Dec 13, 2011
To say 2011 has been a big year for LMFAO is an understatement. They released their second album, Sorry for Party Rocking, in June, and from that album came the fist-pumping megahit "Party Rock Anthem." The #1 song, from the electro-pop duo of Redfoo and SkyBlu, got all music genres (and dancing hamsters) to band together for some excessive party rocking. to read more visit http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1675846/lmfaos-party-rock-anthem-big-thing-2011.jhtml
Eminem doing it again
Jul 23, 2011
Eminem Earns MTV Nods: Detroit’s Eminem and rising hip-hop star Big Sean will be competing for Moonmen trophies at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. The music video for “Love the Way You Lie,” Em's smash hit with Rihanna, earned three nods Wednesday night: best male video, best cinematography and best direction.
Fright Night
Jul 23, 2011
Steven Spielberg may have received the standing "O" but it was Colin Farrell who caused a bunch of Twilight-level female screams. He starred in Comic-Con panels for two remakes in which Farrell has key roles: as malevolent vampire-next-door Jerry in next month's Fright Night and as Doug Quaid in a new Total Recall, out next year. Marti Noxon, the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer scribe who penned the Fright Night remake, said the Jerry from the original (played by Chris Sarandon, who narrated the panel) "missed a viciousness and sexuality that Colin Farrell has." And later in the Total Recall panel, where Farrell talked about playing who realizes new truths about the world around him, he said he loved the Arnold Schwarzenegger original - the same thing he said about the first Fright Night earlier in the day. "You can love two things, can't you?" Farrell asked. "I thought it was different enough and did not tread the same ground. I loved the idea of a man journeying from a deep, deep slumber to consciousness." For fans, though, he was open and friendly. One girl asked Farrell for his Fright Night panel place card, and he got up from his chair to sign and give it to her, bending down to say hi. A camera guy went to capture the moment for the crowd, and ended up getting a shot of Farrell's slightly exposed backside. Others asked about other projects and all things Farrell. Here's what he had to say: Bad habits die hard: Farrell cracked jokes about his own past penchant for partying and alcohol. Talking about playing the next-door neighbor vampire Jerry, "he had to borrow a six-pack. Some reputations you just can't shake." And answering a question about putting on the fangs compared to having mojitos in Miami Vice: "I can certainly remember taking up fangs more than taking up mojitos. Miami Vice was a six-month blackout."want more go to http://content.usatoday.com/communities/livefrom/post/2011/07/colin-farrell-a-fan-favorite-with-fright-night-total-recall/1

GOT EM

WASHINGTON – A U.S. commando's curt message to superiors signaled the end had come for the world's most wanted terrorist: "Geronimo EKIA," meaning enemy killed in action. Osama bin Laden, the al-Qaida leader who liked to pose with a menacing AK-47 assault rifle in his hand or by his side, was discovered without a gun by the Navy SEALs who barged into his room and shot him dead. The White House on Tuesday gave a more complete picture of the assault — and corrected some key details from earlier official accounts — as the team that pulled off the storied raid in Pakistan briefed officials and rested back at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington. The administration possesses graphic images of bin Laden's corpse, at least one of which is likely to be released, according to CIA Director Leon Panetta. Officials hope that doing so would quiet any doubts that bin Laden is indeed dead. The worry is that anti-U.S. sentiment would be inflamed as a result. Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., among the lawmakers who had the images described to them, played down that concern. "They're not going to scare people off," he said. "Nothing more than you'd expect with a person with a bullet in his head." Codenamed Geronimo after the Apache fighter of the late 1800s who was ultimately captured by the U.S., bin Laden was buried at sea from an American ship scant hours after his death. White House officials initially suggested bin Laden had been holding a gun and perhaps firing at U.S. forces. The corrected account raised questions about whether the Americans ever planned to take him alive, or simply were out to kill him. Panetta told "PBS NewsHour" that bin Laden "made some threatening moves" that "represented a clear threat to our guys" but was not more specific about what the unarmed terrorist did as the commandos engaged others at the compound in a firefight and burst into their prey's room. "I don't think he had a lot of time to say anything," Panetta said. "It was a firefight going up that compound. ... This was all split-second action on the part of the SEALs."

That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and
snakes, an aeroplane and Lenny Bruce is not afraid.
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn - world
serves its own needs, dummy serve your own needs. Feed
it off an aux speak, grunt, no, strength, the Ladder
start to clatter with fear fight down height. Wire
in a fire, representing seven games, and a government
for hire at a combat site. Left of west and coming in
a hurry with the furys breathing down your neck. Team
by team reporters baffled, trumped, tethered cropped.
Look at that low playing. Fine, then. Uh oh,
overflow, population, common food, but it'll do to Save
yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs,
listen to your heart bleed dummy with the rapture and
the revered and the right, right. You vitriolic,
patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty
psyched.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
