Young Rhodez, born in California and raised in Mississippi by his grandmother. This 6'4 charismatic artist is not your ordinary rapper. Having grown up in an unstable home throughout his life, Young Rhodez magnified to music and wrote poetry/lyrics as an escape from not being with his biological parents. He lettered his 2nd yr in high school in football and track but could never stay in school due to disciplinary behavior. Even got college offers as a senior but just continued to skip school. In the city of Natchez, MS gangs are constantly recruiting and retaliating on each other. Growing up on Old Washington Rd. a (local blood neighborhood) Young Rhodez decides to join the Blood Gang at an early age.
After being put out at 17 for various reasons, the artist is forced to fend for himself as a grown man. He began struggling with bad jobs and in and out of homeless shelters. " I wasn't in a mind frame of recording more or less surviving." says Young Rhodez. Everything seem to have gotten better when he met local Dallas artist Pearlie Mac and CEO of Mac N 4 Millions Records. Pearlie Mac took him in and motivated him to stick to his dream and not give up. Since then, the two have been making southern rap tunes through out the Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas region.
