Hi and welcome to my musical world. My name is Kevin Redden aka Kjmix1 and also known as DJ Phoenix. My professional music career started over 9 years ago as Karaoke DJ and my career has flourished ever since. Over the next 2 -3 years I worked for Ann Lamphear Karaoke and CD Express DJ and Karaoke company run and owned by Johnny Raye. Johnny taught me the business from the ground up and I took that knowledge and his help I opened Kjmix Entertainment DJ and Karaoke Company. Now free to run my shows the way I want. Kjmix Entertainment went on to be one of Boston’s top cutting edge Karaoke and DJ Company serving Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York.
1 year after Kjmix Entertainment opened I formed a site to help DJs promote their business known as the DJ Syndicate. When Kjmix was opened it was hard for a DJ to get affordable marketing and promotions. The DJ Syndicate allowed us to get larger package pricing for our promotions and marketing. The DJ Syndicate has grown to include over 150 DJs from around the world and has grown to be bigger than I had ever expected. It is going to be one of the biggest DJ promotional company tools for independent artists, bands and record labels.
In 2005 I opened Phoenix Flies Productions and started doing event productions and promotions. Ever since then I spent years studying and learning every piece of promotions and marketing I could. Through networking, promotions, marketing and successful events have established Phoenix Flies Productions and Kjmix Entertainment as one of the premier entertainment companies in the 6 New England States and New York.
Here we are in 2010. I am getting ready to launch one of the biggest endeavors of my life. I am opening another office in Nashville, TN which will serve as headquarters of Phoenix Flies Productions, Kjmix Entertainment and the DJ Syndicate.
1. Kjmix Entertainment will be booking Bands, DJs, and Artists globally.
2. Phoenix Flies Productions will be putting on events globally including kjmix1 Music and Dance Tour
3. Co-manage and sponsor a musical and dance competition tour for a client
4. Kjmix1 internet radio station
5. Phoenix Flies Productions record label
6. Independent musical artist and band promotion (Currently promote a very small group of artists till the big move to Nashville)
