I guess I have to admit I'm finally a senior citizen. But I don't think I feel like one. About 11years ago I got very sick, very quickly. After several months of hospitalization I received liver and kidney transplants from a single donor. That absolutely saved my life. I was very close to check out time. While I was sick, I promised myself that if I somehow got out of that ordeal alive I would spend more time with my family and friends and also go back to doing some of the things I love like music and photography. I did, and I very glad I did. Together with other musicians we raised enough money to pay for a room at the Gift of Life Family House in Philadelphia. Knowing we built a room that helps families in serious need is gratifying. Now, music is pure therapy for me. I love sharing it with others.
