Sharica Andrews (Born July 23, 1986) best known as Rica is an American R&B Singer/Songwriter. Born and raised in San Diego, California, she first learned she could sing at age 11 and has been singing every since. She attended Hoover High School and by age 16, joined Hoover's school choir, dance team & acting classes. Her talent impressed all her teachers who always told her to pursue her music career but also to attend college when she graduated. At age 16 though, Sharica's dream was to be a Pediatric Nurse because she had a strong passion for the care of young children. After graduating at age 17, she attended Grossmont College 1 year later and began taking classes that would lead her to Pediatric Nursing. By age 21 though, while still attending College, she realized that singing was her greatest passion. Although still present at Grossmont College pursuing her Nursing Career, she still finds time to pursue her music career, take part-time classes and juggle a full-time job (Independently). Along with her strength, drive and constant determination, she knows that the support of only God himself can make her dreams come true as a Solo R&B Artist.
