I am just an average shmoe who really, really enjoys music.
In 1977 I was sitting at a gas station with my dad. He got out of the car to put gas in and he left the radio on. That day, and I remember it like it was yesterday, was the first time I ever heard Pink Floyd. I was sitting there amazed at the intro to Money. If he would have changed the station, I would not be a guitarist, I guess. I remember hearing that song and thinking, "That is what I want to do!!"
I love music, I love to create music. That doesn't mean that I create good music. However, I know that each piece gets me closer to creating something that is "good". Everything that you and I write gets us a step closer to being what we are intended to be.
I like almost all types of music from rock to classical to jazz, heck you name it.
I don't sing so that causes problems getting some of my stuff finished. I need a singer. So, in time I will be looking to connect with people on here and maybe do some collaborating for vocal work. Who knows what could happen.
I'm not into doing whatever is popular, or any kind of pop thing. That's just not me. I usually record things that might be a little off the beaten path, so to speak.

Which is worse!?!?!?!?!

What is worse, drinking poison or dealing with people who are fake? Oh well. Guess maybe I could write a song about that. I have a burst of creativity going here lately. I am finding out that it is a lot more therapeutic than ever to record music about things that drive me up the wall or just bother me in general. So, is it a good thing that stuff bothers me? It seems to help the creative process. So, I guess that is the catch then, huh? Dealing with tough situations (not very fun, or good) and then having a burst in inspiration (good). I don't know. Also, I am still trying to figure out the point of this blog. Hmmmm...................
Thinking about going the instrumental route for a while.

Singers are hard to come by in this part of the world. I can't sing well enough to do any good with the material that I have almost finished. With that being said, I think I am going to finish up some instrumental pieces and then post them here. I might see if I have any inspiration to write a couple new ones too. Who knows what might happen. I am itching to do some recording, I just need to see what is brewing within I guess.
