What do you think of when you hear the name Quasjé? You probably think of a young, talented, up and coming artist that resides in Palm Springs, California.I sing, rap, write, and I'm currently learning how to produce. I am 17 years old and I am also a SENIOR in high school. Anyway, I have been through many difficult obstacles in my time of being on this earth. When I was faced with harsh and cruel decisions, I'd think of a song to help me get through it. During long car rides, all I can remember when I look back is the song that was playing in the background. I never really understood why music had such an enormous impact in my life until last year in November. Growing up in the desert basically made me enjoy and embrace music even more because that's all we got out here. I've always wanted to find something that defines me. Like, I play basketball and everything but that's not guaranteed that I'll make a lot of money doing that in the future. All I ever wanted to do is show my talents to the world and become the best person I can be, both mentally and psychically. I guess you can call me a trendsetter, but I'm not cocky so you can be the judge of that. Anyway, I have been writing songs for 3 years now and I didn't start recording until November 2008. Trust me, I know people probably don't like me because of my personality or basically jealousy. But it's cool because I'm gonna prove them wrong and show them that I am gonna make it in this music stuff with or without them by m
