DA MIKE MAN” I was born in Norfolk, VA. At a young age, my family and I move to Brooklyn, NY where I spent the vast majority of time growing up. After moving to New York, I learned a lot about the streets and survival. I experienced some hard times growing up, but I made it through unlike many that I knew before me. There’s no doubt that the temptation of ‘what I thought was an easy life’ was there, but I decided I wanted more out of life. At the time, I had the support and strict guidance of my mother who consistently urged me to go on and make more out of my life. I didn’t always listen but I always heard what she said. To fill a gap and avoid trouble, I discovered my love for music. After high school and a few run-ins with trouble, I decided that I needed to leave New York so I joined the Army. With three years of military experience under my belt, I suffered a short-term injury to my foot and had to end what I thought was my calling just to realize that it wasn’t and that music was really my passion. I moved back to New York where I got back into the music scene. Because my style was different from most of the “up and coming” artist, I didn’t see my career going very far so I decided to return to Virginia where I worked a nine-to-five before meeting up with MPS aka “Cyber Goodz”.
