Take a second to rate my music with a 'Thumbs Up' love it!

This is a first for me; you know when you're putting your music out there, there's always going to be critics and those who try to explain why they feel you wouldn't fit into their company of Artists. Recently, after my CD was viewed I was told that [media] my lyrics were'nt strong enough to be considered in the Gospel genre [media] . okaaay. Needless to say, I didn't take offense to it because it was only an opinion of one person's opinion. Music is and always have been the 'universal language'...I didn't know I had that much power within my lyrics to have been given the green light to be the innovator of a new genre of music; (since what I'm singing isn't viewed as Gospel)...lyrics depicts it; be it a love song or a jam- the beat defines the flavor of it or the swagger. So, I'm declaring a new genre of music called "Smooth Worship"! You heard it here [media] first! So, what do you think?

So I'm spending alot of time promoting the CD...as an artist I think it's important to have a hands on approach - putting in a lot to make sure I get a lot. I guess I should employ someone to do the small stuff - like setting up blog pages, websites, networking and -on and on...but why not do it myself, I know what I want to say about me---and if I don't know that means nothing should be mentioned - I guess. Anyway, it's ministry, and everyone knows that in ministry you're really not effective unless you've made that personal connection; that experience; that event - to share it with others! ...just thought maybe I'd flush out some things...
