About A1 Entertainment A1 Entertainment was founded by Anthony Fletcher in late 2008. Music was always a big aspect of Anthony�s life; many of his friends were into making beats and rapping. It wasn�t until his adult years when Anthony decided he wanted to see how far he could get in the music industry. He first began working with a close uncle, Larry, who had his own record label. He started off by sitting on the side lines and listening to his uncle and his friends record lyrics and make beats. Over the course of a couple of months he realized that this is something he is very passionate about. He got more involved and tried taking the company to bigger and better places. With his extra money, Anthony would invest in better equipment in the return that Larry would show him the ropes of how he thought the music industry was ran. After several trips to local radio stations and many attempts to help Larry become more professional, the two went their separate ways. Early in 2008, Anthony and some close friends decided to try and start their own recording label, Go Hard Ent. After only a couple of group meetings, Anthony realized his mission was much different than that of his friends. In late 2008, A1 Productions was founded. After months of purchasing all new equipment including computers, programs, microphones, speakers, ect., Anthony meet someone vital to his later success, Mija. Mija is founder of Kamlegaze Recordings/Radio. In late 2008, A1 Productions changed their name to A1 Entertainment. Over the course of 2009, Anthony and Mija have come together to share their knowledge. After meeting several young adults, they realized their companies were taking them to bigger and better places. A1 Entertainment decided that best place to start was with the youth. Our mission is to get young adults off the streets and redirect their attention on something that could lead them to better places than guns and drugs ever will. After months of practicing and staying dedicated, Anthony decided to show the youth that if you stay dedicated and focused bigger and better things are to follow. A1 Entertainment and Kamlegaze premiered in the 2009 Annie Malone May Day Parade. A mixed tape was distributed to the crowd and live music was played to get the crowd involved. Since the parade, A1 Entertainment is in the process of signing three new artists.
