Originally formed in 1990 by Andrew Phillips and Shane Ball under the name Cherubim, and shortly after changed to Sabaothic Cherubim. Due to personal reason, Andrew decided to leave the band in 1994, this caused the entire band to break-up. In 2006, Andrew decided to resurrect Sabaothic Cherubim, and was soon joined by Shane Ball. The band recorded the EP, Where The Blood Flows, and in 2007 recorded their LP, Beyond The Baphomet. In 2008, Shane made the decision to leave the band, and was replaced by Death Metal guitarist Raymond Kratochvil. The band also added Alex Paul on Bass that same year. In 2008, they released a video for The Passing, off of their Beyond The Baphomet album; this video featured the new lineup. On July 1st, 2009, they released their 3rd video from this album for Agonizing Screams Of The Undead.

After several years on hold, and slow in production, we are excited to announce that "Liberation Of The Tsalmaveth Dwellers" is scheduled to be released in 2022!!! Along with this exciting news, we are saddened to make known that guitarist & great friend Raymond Kratochvil passed away during this down time. He contribution to the new album is much appreciated, and will be heard on 10 of the tracks. We are comforted in knowing that he is with his Lord Jesus Christ; we will all be reunited in time!
