His name is Jonas Prejean, but the Music World knows him as the Bayou Boss aka Mr. Creole Gator. Born in Acadiana Parish(Lafayette,LA) and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He currently resides in Kansas City,MO . Now to this music thing, he's been into music all his life growing up in Southern Lousiana, your exposed to alot of music and being from where he's from Jazz and Zydeco played a big part of his life. At the age of 10 he picked up the trumpet and found his self loving the sound of a live band, he continued his trumpet playing until the age of 17 playing in selective jazz bands in school since the 6th grade until he graduated. Where hip hop/rap came to play. Growing up in Baton Rouge, prepared him for alot and gave him opportunity to meet alot of musical influencial people. In the 90's he grew up listening to mostly Southern Rap and the majority came from Louisiana(Baton Rouge and New Orleans and Texas). No Limit Camp, Cash Money Camp since UNLV,UGK, Concentration Camp and the list goes on.He found his self freestyling to every beat that he hurd that had open space to do it on, which lead him to writing lyrics and recording them on his own. Since then its been a wrap, early 2000 he really pushed the pen and his music started coming together. He finally Recorded a few mix tapes and his first Underground Album " Rising Waterz " Vol. 1 which he call's the lost album.Taking a break from family matters, he sooned to realize he needed to be back in the studio.
