I am starting to upload rough recordings of my compositions. These are the ones that have reached a playable state. I have nearly enough concepts at various stages of completion for ten tracks in total. Here's hoping I come up with all the tracks by the strict deadline date that I set myself. It's the only way I'll get it done. The other three tracks were written as part of the final year of my degree. The academic deadline of having to hand in an assignment is what got them finished. There's a difference between writing music you had to write and writing music you genuinely wanted to write.
General Bio
Classically-trained musician. I have studied piano for 14 years (DipABRSM), percussion for 2 years (Grade 8), flute for a reluctant year (Grade 4). I have a BA (Hons) Music degree from University of Exeter (2005). I didn't start properly playing acoustic guitar until my last year of uni. That makes just over 3 years.
Unlike all the classically disciplined instruments above, I have taught myself the guitar. I play a Taylor Big Baby acoustic as my main instrument. I also own a Warr Touchstyle Guitar though sadly I haven't got into it to fully enjoy being one of 15 or so people in the UK to own one.
