Born a native Detroiter, I have been singing all of my life. I was raised under an anointed gospel musician/teacher/singer/songwriter, which happens to be my mom. There was no getting around going to church or singing in our home.
I have been blessed with many gifts and talents from God, singer/songwriter/composer/poet/ author, and many other things that are not apart of music. (read my profile interview and check out my hobbies.)
I was raised in the church from an infant to present, singing in various church choirs, community choirs, groups, and praise teams as well as being a gospel solo artist throughout Michigan. Weddings, funerals, concerts, musicals, you name it, I've probably sang in it.
I've had the privilege to stand before various churches as Praise and Worship Leader, alone as well as in group format. I've directed many church choirs, and groups through the blessings of God who, once again opened doors. When God opens a door, I will definitely walk through, no matter how great or small.
God has given me an anointed voice, for it is the anointing that breaks the yoke, and under the power that God gives me, through this anointing, I will allow Him to use me to break every yoke that he sees fit to be broken.
I sing because I love to. It is not a hobby, but a passion for me. In my darkest hour, there is always a song, at my highest highs and my lowest of lows, there is always a song. I live to sing.
