Assassinate the Following... is a four piece band from Windsor, Ontario Canada. They formed in July of 2006, and their goal was and is to produce great, heavy/technical/melodic/thrash music.
They have a wide range of influences that combine and attribute to their style of melodic progressive metal. With roaring vocals, shredding guitars, thunderous bass, and skull shattering drums, this band is aimed to break away from their generic music scene. Assassinate the Following... formed in July 2006 by Brandon White (19) and Drew Torok (18). As a result of their bands departure, they decided to write new and fresh music. Brandon’s brother Josh White (22) stepped up to fill the position of bassist. After several months of hunting and auditions, the band could not find a solid drummer so they asked Russell Farley (19) to drum for them. By August of 2007 the band hit the recording studio with Glenn Fricker at Spectre Sound. With his talents and the bands combined, they recorded and mastered their debut five track EP. Since then, they have been playing steady shows all around southern Ontario and opened up for such acts as Protest the Hero, These Silhouettes, Dead and Divine, and Blind Witness.
In April 2009 Assassinate the Following... will head back to the studio with Glenn Fricker to record their full length album called Massacre of the North. After the release of Massacre of the North they plan on touring that summer to promote their full length album.
