Born in the USA, Washington DC that is our Nation's Capitol but of course. I started playing in 1964 had a box git-fiddle and beat it to death. My riffs got pretty good and it was hard to keep from playing guitar.
My first band had 4 guitar players everyone wants to be a guitar player even myself but I knew we needed a Bassist - so guess who got that job and stuck with.
This intervention made me go Pro in 1968, I play the Washington, DC Clubs for 7 years straight always packing them in the Clubs. I eventually started writing my own songs in the late 70's and still continue today.
