MOON Whispers arose in 2004 with the meeting between Marielle (vocals) and Laurent (keyboards, back vocals).
They compose songs in a gothic-metal style inspired by melodies of For My Pain..., Nightwish, Evanescence or Within Temptation...
At the end of 2007, Marielle and Laurent decide to find musicians to present their music on stage. And so Max (drums), Djull & Alexis (guitars) and David (bass) successively joined the project making of MOON Whispers a true band...
MOON Whispers recorded a demo in 2008 with the means of the edge. Although the sound is perfectible, critics are good and encouraging. This demo also allowed the band to find some gigs (about twenty in two years!) allowing it to grind and to find its balance.
A 5 tracks EP named "Rising" is recorded in 2010, always in autoproduction, but with more professional means. The music of MOON Whispers takes finally its real dimension on CD. The release is announced by October 11th, 2010, and about hundred of presales were realized … The band hopes to find a label which will help it in the broadcasting of it 5 tracks EP while waiting for the recording of an album.
For us, it is only the beginning of the adventure … Listen to MOON Whispers you will fall under the charm!
